“Embrace Truth and Find God’s Grace
I know what it’s like to have a past you’d just as soon forget. A past that you had no control over—your family of origin; your mother’s choice of lifestyle; your family’s battle with alcohol—as well as a “past of misgivings made by your own free will. . . .
We all have “issues.” We all carry burdens and regrets. And we all play a shell game of sorts, hoping to hide and deflect the broken places of our lives. But I say it’s time to embrace truth.
So why not:
• Embrace the fact that you are a mess of magnificent proportions?
• Embrace the fact that you are not alone?
• Embrace the lavish reality of divine grace . . . that heals, restores, covers, forgives, renews, and abounds?
What true freedom!
