I dig spring time!! (Pun intended:0)) I love to be outside and I love to have purpose! Gardening meets those two loves! :)
The key to a healthy garden is good soil! Deep, well-dug, mulched and fertilized!
No matter how much space you have, starting a vegetable and/or herb garden is extremely rewarding!
At the end of this post you can see some books I highly recommend!! They are what gave me the motivation to start my first garden. I followed the directions, almost exactly, the first time, and the results were fantastic!!! I don't follow the exact recipe nowadays, but I absolutely subscribe to the principles!
Here's my newly planted garden:
Mint- antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, stomach aide,...!!
Yellow Cherry Tomato
THESE BOOKS HELPED ME GET STARTED & I even bought some of my plants here:
Lemon Thyme & Oregano -- I use both of these in my Thieves Vinegar
Brandy Wine Heirloom Tomato -- (thanks, Vicki! :) -- my friend harvested the seeds from her amazing plant last year and started them in little pots to five away to her friends!)
Plant in containers or directly in beds. Happy gardening!!
